EA has officially announced that FIFA 14 will be released on September 27th. Pre-ordering the game, just as the same as FIFA 13, gives you access to the Ultimate team 24 packs for each week.

Top 5 new features

1: Build Up Play

With this new feature, Defenders will mark attackers and midfielders more tightly and the players will be more intelligent in the way that they work out what they are doing, should be doing and will do to make the best attack.

2: Dribbling

Dribbling has been enhanced by introducing momentum into dribbling. When a player is running with the ball and suddenly changes direction, the weight will transfer to the side of his body that he is moving towards, therefore introducing momentum.

3: Teammate Intelligence

Simply just meaning that players will now be more intelligent in the way they act and move, such as staying onside and then attacking.

4: Protect the ball

This allows the player to protect the ball in an offensive run by holding down the L2 button. This makes thew player block the opponent and can be used while running.

5: Shooting

EA has done a lot of research into how ball physics really works to create the most realistic shot animations. Shots have been improved by altering the way that the ball moves in the air depending on the shot, such as a knuckle ball, dipping shot or even a rising shot which, with great feedback, will be introduced. EA claims that the shooting has never been better.

A beast on the field who cannot be stopped, literally. With 90 rated Pace and a shot that seems way over 78, he is a key player to a Russian team. Not only is he fast, he has 94 strength and has an average price on PS3 of only 1,195 coins. 85 finishing, 84 Long shots and 88 shot power, a must need player.

Romelu Lukaku

From a 74 rating, silver rare card, to a 74 rating in-form silver to finally a 77 rating rare gold card, Lukaku is truly an over powered player on FIFA 13. A pacey player with 84 rated shot power and 88 strength makes him unstoppable on the field. Although a slightly more expensive player to buy, having an average price of 44,621 coins on PS3, it is definately worth it.

Christian Benteke

From a 72 rated silver, to a 74 rated silver in-form to a 76 rated gold in-form, to an amazing 81 rated team of the season, Benteke is truly a great player. His 87 rated strength allows him to push past the defender and use his pace to score a goal. With an average price of 23,912 coins on PS3, he is definitely a player that is worth buying.

Hulk

Going from a rare-gold 84 rating to a gold in-form 85 rating, Hulk is a pacey and strong player. A good player to link with Emenike, he has a rated 90 pace and 88 strength, making him very hard to stop. With 92 shot power, 88 long shots, 84 finishing, 87 penalties and 84 free kicks, his unstoppable shot contributes to his overall beastliness  An average price on PS3 of 4,856, a very cheap player to buy for that type of quality.
